Jubilee Beacons

To mark 60 years of the Queen’s reign the Diamond Jubilee centred around an extended weekend in 2012 on 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th June.

For MONDAY 4th JUNE 2012 The Chertsey Society liaised with RBC to arrange for the lighting of the Beacon on St Ann’s Hill, Chertsey, as part of the nationwide chain of beacons. The Mayor, Cllr Linda Gillham,was present to light the Beacon at about 10pm.
